Lockdown Is Not Ending For Me

πŸ’™ A gentle reminder to raise some awareness πŸ’™
Even though lockdowns and travel bans are gradually lifted in many parts of the world, not everyone will be able to go out and enjoy life as it "was before".
*
⏸️ While "lockdown" was a big lifechange for many, there are also those that practice stay-at-home since years or even decades already.
*
I'm happy for everyone welcoming the end of pandemic restrictions of all kinds.
I do as well, but with one laughing and one crying eye. I want to meet people, go travel and enjoy parties and festivals as well an terribly miss those activities. But I know at the same time, that I won't be able to do so regardless of lifted pandemic restrictions.
*
"Lockdown Life" was largely my lifestyle even before the pandemic. When chronically ill/disabled, the smallest activity has to be carefully planned and negotiated with yourself.
*
❓ Will I be able to do this or will I too sick for it?
❓ Will I be able to do this but get a lot worse afterwards?
❓ Will I be able to afford this or do I need to save money for medical treatments?
*
When lockdown ends ... please don't forget the ones that continue to stay-at-home.
