Canva is a free graphic design platform with a lovely drag-and-drip interface. It is much more intuitive than photoshop and you don’t need any graphic skills beforehand to create cool und unique designs with Canva. Before I created my first coloring book (“Color Against Toxic Positivity”) in Canva, I was using Canva to create educational posts for my Instagram.

Canva offers a lot of free templates and many free graphics that you can use for your own publications (but make sure to read their terms of agreement of course) and let’s you easily do formatting for any kind of creation. There is a wide array of features for editing graphics and pictures, for example turning graphics into black-and-white for making them suitable for a coloring book or removing backgrounds.

Creative Fabrica

Creative Fabrica is a marketplace used to offer fonts & graphics that you can download to create own designs with them! The service is subscription-based but there are many, many freebies to access as well!

Different fonts from their amazing freebies section

There are four different subscription plans:

  • The Fonts subscription

  • The Graphics Subscription

  • The Crafts Subscription

  • The All Access Subscription

First month subscription on CreativeFabrica is only 1$

You can cancel your subscription and still continue to sell the designs you’ve done while your subscription was active - so even with a subscription just lasting one month, you can already create a lot of designs for a small monthly fee instead of paying individually for each font and each graphic (which quickly adds up!).

There is no monthly download limit with any of the subscription plans and everything included in the plan can be accessed immediately.

The most popular designs can be used for inspiration as well

I decided to get the CreativeFabrica subscription after comparing with other similar sites but came to the conclusion that CreativeFabrica suits my needs best and what can I say - I’m more than satisfied with their huge range of graphics and fonts and to access them for as little as 29$/month.

Both my coloring books where created mixing and matching graphics from CreativeFabrica and both coloring books sold well and got good customers reviews. All elements from CreativeFabrica I used came in high resolution and great quality, which is important for print products (otherwise your designs will turn out pixelated and customers won’t like that!).

So from my personal point of view CreativeFabrica is definitely worth it and I’l continue using it as well. If you think about a subscription on CreativeFabrica, you can support me by using my affiliate link:
